Friendship Groups

Friendship Groups Spring 2022 Launch!
Join us for our next season of Friendship Groups beginning May 2022!  This coming season we will have a two-part series with a 2-week break to accommodate our church trip to the Ark Encounter.  Participants can attend one or both of the series as each part is independent of the other.  Participants will have the opportunity to select from one of our four friendship groups taking place the evenings of Tuesday, Friday and Sunday throughout the season.
Part one of the series - Beginning May 3rd we will be coming together to explore the challenging and insightful work of Max Lucado’s “Anxious for nothing: Finding calm in a chaotic world”.  In Anxious for Nothing participants will reflect on the promises of Philippians 4:4-8. This passage from Paul's epistle contains an antidote to anxiety that will help us develop a mindset of resilience, rediscover the power of prayer and take control of our thoughts.  Part one of this season’s series will end the 1st week of June.
Part two of the series - Beginning June 19th we will discover together Max Lucado’s lessons given in “You Are Never Alone: Trust in the Miracle of God's Presence and Power”.  By tracing Jesus' miracles as told in the book of John, You Are Never Alone invites us to take a closer look at the good news John shares with each of us.  God is never afraid to meet us in the middle of life's messes, extend a helping hand, and lift us out of our troubles.  Part two of this season’s series will end the 1st week of August.
